Every time I turn sharp radius, like pulling into a parking spot, my front end squeaks really bad. I took a grease gun to all the steering components and still no improvement. I have also inspected my ball joints and they are in good condition. Anybody have any idea what is wrong?
Any possibility that it is the tires making a squealing noise? Some parking lots have a coating over asphalt which is very noisy when wheels are cut sharply for parking, even at very low speeds.
It could be anything up front that rotates or turns, honestly.
....or is broken. If it is definitely a squeak and not a squeal maybe a spring or shock mount is moving around. The bushing idea is likely as well. Get under there and look for shiny metal. There likely won't be much!
Do you feel a "clunk" when you come to a stop and then when you let off the brake it feels like it releases?
Look at your radius arm bushings...not sure if these would squeak or not when turning but they wear out.
Also your spring bushings (both called insulators in the master parts catalog in case your ordering parts).
As stated above....look around at all of them as see what seems to be wearing out.
You state "squeaking" which is why I'm looking at bushings. Is it really a "squeak" or a constant "squeal" when you turn the wheel. That would be more of the power steering / pump / belts as suggested above.
