ooooohhhhh that looks interesting - More pics over beer tomorrow!
You look to be building something much more Apollo mission like than what we did. Does it fly?
Holy crap, you're putting in a Coyote?! Man oh man are you ever going fly! You should get awesome gas mileage with it too, well if you can keep your foot off of it. I debated it for my truck but think I might have to go diesel because of my 4x4ing needs. Still my plan for my '67 Mustang though
Such a sweet engine, can't wait to see it all together!
I will try and cover all the questions:
It came with everything out of a wrecked 2012 Ford GT with 400 miles on it.
6 speed Trans, Shifter, ECU, Wiring Harness, AC, Starter, Alternator, Exhaust manifolds, hoses, belts, driveshaft, Air box, etc.
Took me close to a year to find one for a resonable price that was more affordable than buildng a crate motor. There is a kit to add powersteering and move the alternator so it will work with my Rack and Pinion.
I may have to switch the trans out for a TKO 600 due to shifter mounting issues. I have already ordered the Boss302 intake for it so another 50HP on its way.
Now as someone said the fun begins how to mount that thing in the IFS, get the steering figured out and radiator. I am almost certain the tranny will hit the firewall so some trimming will be in order. My goal is to have it running by x-mas.
I will try and post my build progress this weekend as it has been a long an bumpy ride with the frame.
