Hey thx for the link, I just started looking into doing this and all the pics and answers really help. Your truck looks like a clean straight forward install. Now if i could round up all the parts for a cheap install too.

Where did u get the 3" elbows for your ic pipes from? I haven't looked around much for someone that makes em/sells em....are they factory pieces. Also, so you used 99.5 to 2003 intake 3" plenums i take it. Sorry for all the ?s, thx again.

Its been a long time since I have been back to this thread but I'm sure you have answered these questions by now.

I did 3" since I will be putting a S366 in next winter when I pull my tranny to rebuild. I also did it for other reason but i think I covered that earlier on. Cheapest place to get 3" bends would probably be Summit. I actually bought mine here locally at a hot rod shop I used to work at...only guy in CO who has a mandrel bender and knows how to use it properly.

I used a 99.5+ X pipe and just cut off the hot side and fabbed my own piece to work with the stock turbo, till i remove it and can use a different flancge and 3" tubing with the 366. It would be just as easy to fab your intake 7 though out of 3" U bends. I used the flange off the original pipe for the stock turbo.

Hope this helps... you probably have already done this install.

Hey, it's three years old and it's still a very good thread. The bump got me to see it and read it and I learned a lot.
