running issues

my 1994 turbo diesel is hard to start but when it starts it runs for a minute then boggs down and kills itself. what would be causeing this. it was low on fuel and i put fuel in it and this started happening.

air in the fuel system first double check your fuel filter make sure its full then start it up and while its running loosen an injector line one at a time until it smooths out... (with line loose it will idle like its missing (cylinder not getting fuel)

sounds like a lift pump problem....if your fuel filter is not filling up when cranking...then its possible that your lift pump is going or its gone....

i would change the oil now. some fuel could have made it into the crankcase.
