Pneumatic Impact Wrench

ok guys! don't wander out of the super duty, 7.3L, or so cal chapters forums much. but i figure out here would be the place to ask.

i just got done installing a lift kit on my 03 diesel super duty and dads ole central pneumatic 1/2" impact gave me fits for most of the install

so for the last few days Ive been shopping for my own 1/2" gun. i do all my own work on my truck and other peoples junk that they bring to me.

for now im tied between an ingersoll rand <small>231C and </small><small>231HA-2.

looking at the long anvil gun for the 95% of my impact use changing tires or rotating them.

but for the prices under $200 a piece i just might splurge and get both. i know there's more powerful 1/2" guns out there but price goes up fast.

i dunno... figured id toss out the new thread to see what you guys like for your air powered impact wrenches...

heck for that matter what do y'all like in 1/4" 3/8" 1/2" air ratchets, air impacts guns, butterfly impacts, etc.

hopefully i make sense, my mind seems to be running a mile a min tonight and i cant sleep.

I would get the IR 2135ti

Best impact gun I have ever used hands down.

look on craigs list. i picked up a brand new IR for $25 that sat on a shelf for 20 years, and a 4 year old snap on for $50

for giggles i figured id update my thread here..... i splurged i went to sears to replace a socket i broke and walked out with no replacement and a new impact

got me a ingersoll rand 2135TiMAX 1/2" gun

i like it...

now to get a nice set of impact sockets.

Check into the Wright brand of tools---still USA made & great quality, fairly priced with guarantee too! Well worth looking into at the local level--internet sales don't do you any favors over what can typically be found with someone near by.
