4 Months ago the headlights were staying on in the truck and draining the battery. When the key was turned ahead the dash would light up and flicker but the truck would not roll over or start. Even with the key out and the doors opened and closed the radio, dash lights would stay on and the windows would open and close without the key. When it did start, the truck would not shut off with the key.

The Ford Dealer checked the wiring and steering column and said it was the computer, so they installed a new one, but it remained the same. Then a new battery was installed, still the same. Then a new module was installed under the spare tire and this seemed to do the job.

Truck was working fine since, but the same thing started two weeks ago and I had the truck towed. I have since bought a new truck, but would still like to fix the older one so I can sell, but I want to make sure the correct cause is actually found this time. I can't find any damaged wiring to cause this.

Any ideas?
