Ram Air Hood

Hey Guys, I just ordered the following ram air hood:

99-07 Ford Super Duty/Excursion Keystone Restyling Twin Scoop 'Good Hood' - Ground Dynamics

I am not ordering the airbox and duct work to plumb it to the compressor side of the turbo. Do you guys think I will have any problems just letting the air blow on top of the engine? I know it will help to keep the engine compartment cooler. I don't think there will be much water intrusion. The electrical connectors should water tight, hopefully. I just don't want to contribute to corroded electrical connectors.

Just a thought, but you may want to double check the model. Some of the Good Hoods are functional, some not so much.

I have thought of doing this same thing to cool that hot turbo.Let us know how it looks and fits when you install it..I don't think it will corrode things any worse.
