Ram Air hood

I think my Dad and I are going to buy a new hood for our 99' F-150 W/ working Ram Air.... I was wondering if anyone out here has a Ram Air on their truck and if they can tell a diffrence in the performance of the truck compared to a stock intake. Also I was thinking of getting one of those Jet Performance chips to go along w/ the hood. What do you all think?

Ram Air hood

The ramair hood will add a similar gain as a cold air induction kit would (7-15 hp). Ramair has almost no effect until over 120 mph, but they do look nice.

They pull in cooler outside air that is not heated by the engine or brakes in the wheel well. This is the biggest advantage.
Make sure that it is a quality set up that won't suck water into the intake when it is raining.
