Normal Readings for Gauges

I think I am going to pull the trigger on some gauges from RiffRaff in a few months when I get back home and was wondering what normal readings I should expect for them?

I want to get a colored 1600F EGT (I know that 1250F is about as high as I should go with PMRs), 270 degree sweep 100-280F tranny temp (225F highest expected) and 0-40psig boost (24psig is what I should be putting out of the stock GTP38).

I'm sure I'll be upgraded if any of my info is wrong above, but I don't know what I should normally be seeing under normal driving conditions to make sure that I'm getting the right ranges. I have a bone stock drivetrain (except the 6637 filter) and don't plan to do much to it except maybe some tunes someday when I eventually rebuild the tranny (I live about 90 miles from John Wood), but that's down the road.

I figured the 0-1600F EGT, 0-40psig boost and 100-280F tranny would suffice for an old guy who does the speed limit and will eventually pull a 10K RV trailer a couple of times a month.

Since Clay is flexible and I can get what I want (cost notwithstanding), I might as well put it to the experts (you guys) to make sure I am making the most informed decision possible.

Thanks up front for any information and recommendations. I am on deployment overseas and my internet is sporadic at best and I only have access about 2 hours a day so I won't be able to get on here very much. I will check back when I can and see all the recommendations.

Thanks again.

Those are the standard gauges for most everyone.

With Boost you will see from 0-25 psi on a stock set-up. With a tuner you can see upwards of 30 psi.

Transmission Temperature normally runs 140-180 degrees with a you should be pulling over or letting off at 230*.

EGT varies: running the freeway at 65 I usually see around 600-700. Pulling a hill or getting on it 1300* then you should let off!

If you are getting the EV2 kit from Clay you will be very happy. I just switched over from Autometers and really like them!

Thanks for the info. I've been wanting gauges for awhile and had pretty much decided on getting Isspro EV2 gauges. Then Autometer came out with the OEM match for the Super Duty and I was on the fence about which brand. After some reading I had decided to stay with my original decision for Isspro and now I definitely will since you were happy with your switch from Autometer. Thanks!
