Wierd stuff

this weekend I noticed a few issues with the truck. When I pull out the key, all is good, until 5 minutes later when accessory power is resorted (windows work ect) with no key in ignition. I pulled the negative post to not drain battery.

Second, while driving after putting the (-) post back on, my speedo was jumping from 20 to 60 @ 40 mph, Overdrive button flashed constantly and check eng light came on. I got to my job, pulled to neg terminal again and 6 hrs later all was good.

Eng and tranny shifted fine with all the shenanigans while carrying 3 yards of mulch, tools, 28 cobblestones and a Japanese Maple.

Any ideas??????

If you pulled the Neg but not for long enufgh it coul of only removed hapf the data from the truck computer leaving it fillef with confusing garble as it reloaded the second time.

Something like that half waake haf dream state where you arent sure if it was a dream or real.

Resetting it the second time probably cleared the entire memmorey and got you back to default settings. Now just wait to see if problems arise.
