Thanks Mike! I'm going to print these out and really analyze them. Can you check the 256 and the 270, I think the images are posted reversed (ie the 256 section shows the 270 image, the 270 section shows the 256 image).

Wow, it's amazing how close all three torque graphs really are.
My head is spinning a bit!
Can I ask a big favour? Would you mind running the 270 cam with the cj ported heads?

I'm supposed to drop off the truck today so it can get started on tomorrow morning.
Now it's decision time. Heads obviously make a big difference on this motor.
Here's my observations:
1. All of the cams (except the 256) hit max torque at about 2500rpm
2. Better flowing heads extends the torque curve dramatically
3. Better flowing heads adds about 30hp to the 264 and 270
4. No cam achieves any more torque than any other
