Yes but shifter is too far back. It would come out under the seat.

Actually, I think the Ford T5 bolt pattern is different than the S-10. If the adaptor accomodates both patterns, then yeah, they'll work.

sorry if this is to long, but i haven't being fallowing along on this one.

first.jmadsen.
where did you get that plate or should i say when, last i heard Dwight Bond was nowhere to be found so say the guys on the H.A.M.B.IIRC that adapter will fit the mustang and the s-10 t5.

Ross
yes and no.Speedway has them for stock or hydraulic .

Damifiknow.

all you need to do is get a driveshaft from a c4 or c6 that is to long and have it shortened, they use the same slip yoke as the t5.

RJ Williamson.
again,Speedway has them for both the s10 and the mustang.

the biggest problem i had with this swap was i had to clean the casting slag off the 3 counter weights on the pressure plate, they were rubbing on the adapter housing at the bottom, just grid off the little ridge and everything works pretty good.

Just to confirm , did you used the stock 11 inch pressure plate ? Reason I ask is because the instructions say that it won't work .

Or if anyone can point me to a site or thread showing it, i don't want to be too much trouble.

I have yet to complete the install but have the adapter bolted to the trans and half bell buried in the corner of the garage. if I can clean shop enough to find it I'll check measurment s.

to others yes I had heard on different threads over on the hamb that as well but I think he's still around?? keep trying. I think he had a new # maybe and that he was sold out of them but if he had an order of 10 of them he would make more??

My stock F-1 crossmember was already cut out by po but it's just a narrow portion of the center of memeber so I still have the brake and clutch pedal MC assembly etc.

sorry oldmerc, yes i used the stock pressure plate and flywheel.
they are both for the 11 inch clutch,the disc i used is 9 1/8 14 spline 1 inch shaft for a 86 s-10 5 speed.i got it from Napa in Lethbridge,part # RC4203 $79.00.
the 9 1/8 disc is plenty big enough for the power of the flathead under normal use.
