Radius Arm Bushing Replacement

Hello there, my 92 F150 4x4 needs new radius arm bushings. Mine have ~1" of play in them. I ordered the new ones already. I have A 4" lift so the brackets have already been switched over to bolts. My question is do I need to jack The truck up to remove the brackets? If not what is the proper way? Ford wants $475 plus parts to do it and thats just WAY too much... Please help

Just support the radius arm and hub with wheel removed(for working room).

It is easier with two people, to align the bolts and adjust the bracket with

The new bushings.

I did mine with the wheel on and on the ground, but I put the jack under the radius arm to support it

I guess when I did mine, I replaced the shocks at the same time.

The wheel on the ground will work, it is safer too!

Then if by yourself you can "roll" the wheel to help lIne the bolt holes Up

I throw a jack stand under the frame at work to take all the tension off the radius arm and make it way easier in my opinion to work with. Plus use some wd-40 or pb blaster, magic stuff on bolts.
