Deer antler shifter handle

Have done this in the past for other rigs. Been really busy today, swapping seats in the 96, taking off top and doors from the Jeep, and working in garage. Found this shed deer antler on our place a while back, decided it had the right feel. A sawzall, a grinder, and a drill did the trick, with the help of a big c-clamp and bumper.

Fits the hand perfectly.

That turned out pretty good. I've got an 8 ball from a pool table on mine that I drilled out. I'm thinking about swapping to a B&M T Handle shifter but I've gotta drill out the threads that they use

I have a master's degree in redneck engineering. I drilled the hole out a tad small, then wallered the hole a bit. Then 1 layer of electrical tape on the shaft, it twisted down just perfect. No rattles, movement, and then, as a trapper, I had to have some coyote stuff, so added a tail to the mirror, and a toy to the shifter.

When I put shifters in I pack them full of JB Weld or RTV Silicone depending on how permanently I want them on. Home made shifters are good conversation pieces though.
