We he had to jump start my friends 2002 f350 crew cab 7.3 after it sat in snow with a dead battery out of fuel for a few days, We got some diesel in the truck and turned the key in and off a few times and it wouldn't start, opened the fuel bowl and it had air in it so we filled it and got the truck running finnally. Then getting out of the snow everytime the rpm went past 2500 the dash lights would go off and come on when the truck idled down, then all the guages lost power all lights went out and the motor would cut out for a second and keep goin then die, could this all just be due to low battery power any ideas? the truck is still stuck in the snow on a logging road need help

 

Low battery can cause problems.

 

Yes these trucks need full power. Maybe the alternator isn't charging correctly also.

Probably dead cells in the battery. That will cause strange things to happen.
