My drivers side door is getting harder to close - you almost have to slam it to get it to shut completely. I replaced the striker bolt and bushing a while back. Is there something I can adjust to get it shut as easy as it used to?
Swing it open just enough to see the hinge pins and lift the back edge of the door. If the hinges shift on the pins, you'll either need to replace the whole hinge or the pin. I prefer to get decent hinges from the junkyard.
Once you're sure the hinges are tight, you can adjust them, but I find it easier to swing the back edge of the fender out to get to the hinge bolts. You can see a pic of it in the GP Auto pics album in my sig link. Align the door to the body (so it seals right), then align the fender to the door (so the gap is right).
