460 pi help.

460 pi help.
OK ya'll i'm new here and i want some help. I been working on cars every since i remember (even though in 17) I just got a 1979 f-100 with a 460 in it. I sold the truck because it was shot, i only wanted the motor. Only 25 bucks for it all. But i was talking to the guy and he said the motor came out of a wrecked police car he got at auction. He said that it was a police interceper, with a P9 tranie hanging off the back of it. Now i want to know what the differences between the regular 460 an my pi. Another thing is its a dove2 head/block. I have a set of ported, polished, vlaved, shaved dove3 heads that can with it. I would just like some good info on what the differences are, and is this motor combo as rare as i have been told but shops. Thanks in advance.
