Well new Hedman Headers are in and joined up to the rear exhaust replaced about 7 months ago.
Very nice not to have any ticking or loud exhaust noises coming from headers, new headers are fairly quiet driving around town unless you put your foot into it then we get a nice rumble.
So check that one off the to do list, it is funny though the more I do the more I find I have to do.
Yep.... do ONE thing at a time and watch the list GROW. I hear ya on that one. Seems you stroke one off and there's two more on it. I had to hide my list from the Old Girl. She kept puttting things on it that I didn't want to do.LOL John
So i pulled the truck out of storage Saturday! Everything went smooth as freshly clay barred paint
Took the cover off popped the hood and hooked up the battery, underhood light came on opened the door put the key in, door ajar ding came on (never been so happy to hear that). Turned the key and fired right up! My grin went ear to ear. Let it sit and Idle while I did the small stuff, folded the cover, screwed in antenna, checked tire pressure lost 4 PSI all "winter" lol.
After it idled for 10-15 minutes I drove to work. pulled in the garage pulled out the hose and started my ritual. Wash, Clay Bar, Change Oil, Fuel Filter, Wax, and go for a cruise.
In case you old timers forgot Saturday was a BEAUTIFUL DAY! I was done and cleaned up by about 4. So the GF and I dropped her car off at home and went for a cruise. From Georgetown we went to Erin, than to Belfountain through the Forks of the Credit, around old base line to see The Badlands. Back through Erin to Alton and to Hillsburgh, than back to Georgetown.
Was an awesome weekend and so happy to have my baby back!
