92 F150 FUEL PROBLEMS
A Friend on the rig here w/me had a problem with his truck.He pulled up left it idling,got back in and it would not build any rpms eventually died.it would only start w/starting fluid.I told him to check fuse for fuel pump,fuel filter,inertia switch,turn key on while listening for fuel pump running. is there something else i missed?

Where is the truck now? It started by using ether, but did he get it moving? I assume it's an older ford with a carburator. Maybe the carb?
My 92F150 has fuel injection I didn't know 92's had carbs.

smack the bottom of the fuel tank with a hammer
when the fuel pump quits sometimes you can give them a little jump start by hitting the bottom of the tank
once my uel pump quit i was able to drive it home and to the store a few times by wacking the skid plate

92 F150 FUEL PROBLEMS
when you turn the key on can you here the fuel pump turn on? i've learned in the past to always carry spare fuel pump relays around $10.00 takes 2 seconds to replace kept me from being stranded several times, ether can be sprayed down the Throttle body of a fuel injected vehicle..
