Here is where I got my LED lights: LED Strip Light - SMD 5050 Flexible LED Strip Light with 18 LEDs
I got 4 12" light strips for $40.00. they are sealed in a silicone mold and come with two sided adhesive already applied. They work great and they have a great price.

This is the other option I have been thinking about, and is probably what I am going to do. Can't go wrong for 40 bucks. Thanks for the link also.
No problem, there are a few different suppliers of these lights if you just search the SMD 5050 LED's. I happened to chose one from China without noticing, took a month to get them. you can also string them together if you need more light by just plugging them into each other.
I installed the Truxedo light set and hooked it up to the tailight as was suggested in one of the earlier posts. I found a round toggle switch on-line that fits perfectly in the hole at the top of the box right near the taillight. I also found 7/8" plugs at Lowes that I used in the top holes on the sides at the rear and drilled a small hole in each to feed my wires through. It seals up beautifully, and there is no opportunity for chaffing of the wires. My friend actually though it was a factory installed option when I showed it to him. It is a very nice install and works marvelously well. I did use the screws as I cannot imagine sticky tap holding for years in the heat, cold, and vibration. I could not be happier with the results.
If you have a sprayed in bedliner, Locktite super "GEL" glue works great. I used this to mount LEDs under the gunnel rail of my duck boat and they have held tight for 4 seasons now and my duck boat sees a lot more abuse than my truck bed ever does. interior lights for Boat : Waterfowl Boats, Motors, & Boat Blinds
