Head gaskets/Dummy plugs

Head gaskets/Dummy plugs
I am changing the head gaskets soon, and am wondering if I need to change dummy plugs? or what else I need to do while I am in there. If I read correctly the 03 engines do not need dummy plugs? Was there a certain engine build date?

If Im not mistaken here you have Dummey Plugs IF your ICP sensor is in the Passenger side valve cover which means you will have the Wavey OIL Rail
If ICP is under Turbo then no dummey plugs I guess I shouldnt say no plug cuz IIRC they did have a Plug in the early Log Oil Rails but it not problematic Its Been a few since I had my Log Oil Rails out so dont quote me on the early rail plugs
you will also want to replace any orings you disturbed on the standpipes

there sprobably some Orings you could replace when uyou unhook the standpipes to get the Heads out
also would be a good time to add exhaust manafold gaskets since they did not come with them from factory
