idk i think the fender flares would match up well if he puts larger "drag" tires on the rear.

just make it look like it was modified to fit them.

Its not so bad, at the same time wouldnt take more than a couple hours to put 87+ wheel wells in the front, or pre 87 on the back. Honestly, once its all the same color, matching trim, or lack-there-of, i doubt anyone will even notice Especially with a big meaty back tire.

Got the frame donor in. Will strip that down ASAP, chop the frame down and start putting it all back together while engine gets some nmb2 magic done to it. Hopefully can start some serious progress when summer starts

Does Justin have the engine already then? I look forward to the pics. I still think you should do compounds on it for drag racing...

About the engine bay:

This is my plan, so you're opinion and desire may differ greatly, but anyways, my thoughts are as follows:

Chrome and colors usually look good when brand new, but hard to upkeep. When I do mine, I plan on going all black.
It looks nice, cleans up good, and touch ups are easy, after a few years.
Nothing looks crappier than rusty chrome, and unless you buy all high end stuff, thats what happens.
The aftermarket is flooded with cheap chrome parts that sell like wildfire to young guys that don't know any better, and are on a budget.
I plan on black everything, and if it flakes, rusts, etc, I can pressure wash it up close, and give her some more paint, and it will look good again.

Everything black, with nice chrome intercooler piping, would look awesome.

Polished aluminum all the way. However, i would just be happy with an intercooler at the moment lol.

I just thought chrome hard lines would look pretty sick, still kinda do, but that doesnt mean im going to do it, just an idea.

The good and bad thing about black, it doesnt show oil leaks. Mine will end up IH or Race Red (truck is gunna be Race Red, and maybe two-tone black) accent on black base.. and a little shiny in the right spots to break it up.

black does show oil leaks, the dust sticks to it.

Black also looks sharp even in complicated machinery.

I love black to begin with, add the fact of all the ***** chome products, and the answer is black.
