just did the exhaust intake gasket and i still have the stock exhaust an no mods. but i have one cat. converter and i cut the rest of the exhaust off. but i want to put a muffler on that will make it sound strong and loud like a v8 and yes i know it wont ever sound like a real v8 with out some big upgrades but just looking for a good sounding muffler. what people have gotten or tried. thanks

I ran stright pipes on mine after the cat for 17 years...no problems and it sounded like a small V8

 

I loved the sound of the Flowtech Raptor on my 4.9 inline six, but it is not extremely loud.
