So I bought my truck(07 F350 super crew long box 4x4 xlt ) 2 years ago it had 160,000 km on it and since then I first bought a superchips and ran it on the race tune for a few months then went on to get 4" turbo back exhaust and AFE stage 2 intake with the elbow, moved along to putting on a snows water/meth stage 2 kit, egr delete, 6.4L banjo bolts, Blue spring, sinister coolant filter then got rid of the superchips and got me a edge CS juice with attitude(always on lvl 5) then the turbo blew on the exhaust side so I replaced it with a powermax. along with doing a CCV reroute at that time, thats the extent to the mods to the truck that I have done so far. The truck now has 188,000 km (not my primary vehicle) and when I do drive im not exactly easy on her I don't mind pushing the skinny peddle down. how ever I do keep an eye to my egt temps and rarely let them climb over 1500* and try to shut down below 400* as well as keep up on oil changes and filters. anyway the point im getting to is that I had assumed/hoped that the head studs were done previously so I wouldent have to spend the cash but just today a buddy was looking my truck over and noticed that my headstuds arent done and the factory bolts are still in so im thinking im really lucky so far and wondering if I should get them done now or wait till I have issues?? any opinions or food for thought would be great

Not able to help too much on this matter. But dont you start to melt your cylinder heads at about 1300 degrees?
1300*F is not a huge problem on occasion. I wouldn't want to be significantly over that very frequently though (although short bursts are not too bad). 1500*F sounds way high to me though.
Yep your pushing your luck no doubt about it.And that tuner is known to tear up the torqshift. If it were mine I'd do the studs before you warp a head. You still home on the rock?
