Looking for a 300 I6 EFI...

Hey all, Im looking for a 4.9L for an old project van of mine(a 1979 E-350). I also need to know if the said engine will bolt up to an AOD tranny. Low Miles would be preferred. PM me if your intrested in any trades...

If the AOD was on a Windsor block It will bolt up. If it was on a v8 you will need a zero balance flex plate and a torque converter. You will have to confirm the size needed based on the "bell housing" size. I think there are only 2 sizes 10.5" and 11". Search out TCI transmissions and they have all of the data for you to use. If the engine you get comes from a manual trans system check to see if there is a pilot bushing in the crank and remove it if there is. Also I think the 79 had a mechanical fuel pump and a 4.9 will not have the cutout in the block for it.
