oil cooler
Hey Guys, new to this forum. I'm wondering if anybody has the info on how to test or check for a blocked or partially blocked oil cooler? I was told my truck runs hot because of this. Thanks for any input. It's an 07 f550 w/ a 6.0

Get the truck up to normal ECT temp
Drive at 65mph steady and on Flat road (not Climbing a Mountain) and drive till Both ECT & EOT reach there high points take the spread
ECT vs EOT Deltas should be no greater than 15* apart
you will need Gauges for this
A newer stratigy will also set a DTC for this so scan for DTC
What leads you to think it runs Hot
