Wheel heating up?

I have a 1999 F150 2 wheel drive 4.2. The drivers wheel is heating up even after short drives. I just put new pads and tie rod ends on it. The wheel spins freely when it's jacked up and I don't hear or feel anything weird in the brakes. I have an alignment scheduled for Thursday. I can check the slide pins and wheel bearing. Any other ideas?

Worn brake hose going to the wheel can collapse, not allowing the piston to retract. This would keep the pads rubbing against the rotor, resulting in overheating of the wheel. Check your rubber hoses going to the caliper.
