CKP Sensor

I have a97 f150 with the 4.2 liter, Does anyone know how many volts my CKP Sensor should be sending out? I am showing 1.7 volts. Is it possible that the CKP is puting out to many volts and telling the engine not to fire? I am getting no spark.

The CKP should be sending out PULSES when it's signalling the PCM what the crank position is. You cannot "see" the signal with a DC Voltmeter. 1.7 volts is normal for the sensor bias voltage.
