la at the end of February towing a 28’ travel trailer. I could not get it to work at all until today when I messed around with it a bit while driving; now it will work on occasion. Everything appears to be normal. When I push the “Set” button the green indicator light on the dash comes on. My horn works, my ABS light is not on, when I tried the self diagnostics everything checked out, and I have tried by-passing the switch on the master cylinder. Nothing appears to be loose on any of the cable or engine components and all the fuses seem to be ok.<O

>The only odd thing I have noticed so far is that when I push the “Set” button or touch the brake pedal when the green light is on I can hear a click that seems to come from somewhere behind the litter bag hook on the lower dash. To me the click is probably normal but it is often accompanied by a light buzzing or humming noise from the same location which is probably not normal.<O

>Anybody have any ideas on where I go from here?
Im not sure if this will help but i had an issue with a silverado i had with the cruise not wanting to set. The 7 pin trailer connector can get moisture in it and cause enough resistance across the brake and ground terminals to trick the computer into thinking you hit the brake (It looks for resistance across the brake circuit) If you have a garage park it inside or spray some WD40 in the trailer connector. It sounds crazy but it worked for me and i never had another issue with it. Simple and inexpensive so its worth a shot. Hope it helps
