My truck never knocked until one day on the way to work. I stopped at a light, Knock,knock,knock.. Pulled over to check things, scared me. I fought this #8 knock for the rest of the summer and the next. Two different #8 injectors So one day i figured to swap #2 with #8. When i pulled out #2 the oring was ripped. Changed the oring, swapped #8 and #2.. Haven't had the knock since, So glad it is gone, Drove me nuts
I did everything i read about to help the knock. HPX, CCK, Fuel mods, Fuel tank mods. That dang #2 was the problem. I suspect it was pushing air into the system. Boy did i get lucky to find that oring, I almost pulled #4 instead of #2.
