so i bought a set of the 302 engine towers from bronco graveyard. BUT i was not paying attention and i just noticed that i got the set for a 1980-96 f100-250. So my QUESTION is does any one know if they will work for a 1977 f150? If not does any one know where i can get a set from or will the the engine towers from a 300 straight 6 work? ANY HELP WILL BE GREAT...
I took a 302 out of a 77 and put in a 81 and it went in no problems.so in reverse you should be ok,or give the bronco graveyard a call tell them your deilema and they will work with you.

2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive ?
I have a set of towers and mounts for a 302/351w that I pulled and cleaned up from a '79 2 wheel drive but the buyer decided to go with the 400m . I would take $75 , shipping included .
I have a 460 set , 302/351w set , and a 300 six set and they all look different . Maybe but I don't think the 300 swaps with the 302 style .
i cant help with your origional questions but if its a 4wd truck 360/390 towers will work just fine if the ones you got end up not working. I dropped a 302 into my 360 mounts with no issues.
after reading some more on these towers that i got they say that they are for 1980-96 Ford Bronco 1980-96 Ford F100, F150, F250. they also say that they are needed when switching from a 300 6 cylinder engine to a 302,351-W or 460 engine. Now the ultimate question is if they will also fit in a 1977 ford f150. I guess i will be finding out today or tomorrow. I will let you guys know if they will work or not for future reference.
