how much friction modifier?

Can somebody tell me how much friction modifier to use on the rear diff of an 06 f350? I know some oils already come with it in it but i already have the oil and a 4oz bottle of the additive. The parts guy says use the full bottle but i've done some searching around and see anywhere from 2oz to 8 oz.

I can only speak for a Ford 9" posi and I used the whole bottle per the parts person.
