Shackle vs Add a spring?

hi all,

I am wanting to add a little lift to my 2004 250. Its already leveled out...

does anyone have any experience with Shackle or add a leaf kits?

suggestion change with the year of the truck. but I would go with a reacr spring in the rear or blocks.
never use blocks in the front, thats very unsafe
