Flashing 4x4 light?

Flashing 4x4 light?
I have a 1999 Expo AWD 4.6 and was messing around with the four wheel drive and I put it in 4x4 low and then it was showin that i was doing 60 and I maybe was doing 15. I then tried to put it back in AWD and it then flashed the 4x4 sign. Help!

Got my Expediition back from the shop, and saw 4x4 flashing light on the dashboard. I went under the truck to check the oil level in the transfer case. While under the truck I found a connector unplugged., the connector is on the left of the transfercase.
