first question
I'm new to this group but not to forums, I know just enough obout these old trucks to get into trouble, I have a 73 highboy that had a toasted 360 so I want to put in a new motor, I doint want to change motor mounts and was thinking 390, I can't find any info as to what motors use the same motor mounts. I know 390 would but are there any others that would? Maybe one with a 4 in front? Thanks for the help.

A 428 crank would swap in if you use the 390/410/428 rods and 410 pistons and would give you 410 cubic inches. If you go with survival motor sport's 4.250 inch stoke kit, you can get a 445.
