How do you remove the dash sections to the left of the steering wheel?
I don't want to break any tabs by doing it wrong and I need to get behind there to run some wires up to a add on device next to the pillar.
Interested as well. Have you taken the plunge yet to see how?
As no one responded.....yes, delecately! With the drivers door open you can remove the lower panel below the steering wheel and the side panel (right next to the door) simply by pulling outward on them. I found that this gave me enough room to run the wiring from below to up to the side pillar. Also It allowed me to find the uplifter relays and wiring pigtails. (They sure skimped on wire there!! they are only about 6" long. you have to get right under the dash to make the connections to these wires! Why they could not put 18" of wire on these is beyond me!)
Here are a couple pics of the final install of the fuel pressure gage.
I was not able to really figure out how to get the Air vent panel off. It looks like it just pulls off as well but I think you need to take off all the center dash panels first.
Sorry,
This was part of an install from a different post on high pressure fuel pump failures.
This is to tell me when my aftermarket fuel/water filter seperator starts to get plugged or fails.....I can then pull over immediately when I see the pressure drop.
