Let me start from the beginning and hopefully I won't leave anything out. I have had an oil leak for a while now and I finally had the time to get to it. Turns out the ICP was leaking terribly bad. I replaced the ICP and a new pigtail since mine was soaked. I also took the time to fix a few things and do some upgrades as well. I removed the turbo to find and fix an exhaust leak, (was coming from y-pipe to turbo), while I had the turbo off I decided to clean it. The turbo was not that dirty at all but I went ahead and cleaned it very thoroughly. I also did the blue spring mod and the 6.4 banjo's upgrade and installed a new HFCM drain plug and Fumoto Oil valve. I changed the fuel filters and an oil change as well all with Motorcraft filters. The problem is now the truck acts like it is missing as it surges really bad. Acts like maybe the turbo is engaging then disengaging like it shuts off completely then back on. It does it mostly when I get on the throttle to accelerate. At cruising speeds it still surges just not as bad. I did lubricate the turbo when I reassembled it. I have an Edge CTS and SCT Tuner. I did the relearn procedure and checked the FICM voltage which is 47.5 to 48.5 on the CTS. I am probably about 3-4 updates behind on the PCM/FICM programming. Also the only codes I have thrown are P1000 and P0405. I don't want to go to the dealer but It is looking that way if I can't figure this out soon. I have a long vacation planned in two months towing my 32' TT and need it fixed by then! Thanks guys!! This one has me stumped as to the problem. HELP!!!
