thanks! i'm really happy with the way it turned out. Might do go all the way across the tail gate at the top of the tail light instead of starting at the corner like i did. I've been on the fence with that from day one.
you would not believe the comotion that little strip caused with some of the guys in charge ... unbelieveable.
i told them that if I wasn't worried about the 12 bucks i spent on the pinstripes that they shouldn't be worried about it either, that and i did it over 3 lunch breaks so it didn't cost them a dime.
heaven forbid we have guys that actually care about how thier trucks look.

Interesting, company owned work truck and no Commercial plates?
I run organization plates on my personal vehicles, but South Dakota says I need commercial plates on my business vehicles. little difference in like $300 bucks a year in tags. I think they should be paying you to make it look good with the $ they are saving each year on plates.
A lot of us forget that Trucks were designed to be work vehicles first, and family vehicles second.
good to see someone out there taking pride in a work vehicle!
my neighbor (who owned a body shop at the time) had his painter spend like 6 hours on it with a clay bar and some wax !!! the paint was so slick you couldn't have sat on it if you wanted to, your butt woulda just slid right off!!!
thought i'd post up another pic of my co-worker's truck.
he added a 1/8" over 1/16" black pinstripe and a black bumper strip along the lower part of the truck to ward off some of the door dings he was getting. sorry, it's kind of a crappy pic from the cellphone.
again, no big deal, just a couple of knuckle heads giving a crap about how the truck they drive looks ....
