Installed it this morning and put in the xguages I wanted but didnt see any with the name ect so what does this stand for? Second my cam and crank sync is telling me I'm not in sync, whats the side effects of this?

You're not going to find a PID labelled as "ECT" on the Scangauge. It's labeled as "°WT", for degrees of water temperature. It requires no X-gauge commands, it's one of the parameters that every ScanGauge monitors straight from the factory.

Is the cam and crank sync thing a trouble code?

 

no the truck shows no codes on the scanguage or my sct

 

Yes as mentioned above you already have fWT in SGII

On the CMP/CKP sensors showing sync you have the wrong X-Gauge CODE

If you truely had no sync between CMP/CKP sensors the truck wouldnt Start at all

try these codes

SYC

SYC Camshaft & Crankshaft in sync (1 = in sync) (AlternTXD: 07E02209CD RXF: 0462050906CD RXD: 3001 MTH: 000100010000 NAM: SYC


If these codes dont work talk toAmdriven2liv (Sean) has been keeping up with all the SGII codes so he would be a Great Guy to ask


Therre is also a code for FICM Sync do you have that one?????

 

thanks for the updates i'll try them. and no I dont have the ficm sync,I got the other ficm ones though, I got my codes from this link I found on here.

Well if the codes dont work come back some of these Xcodes get updated or changed from time to time

I cant find X-Gauge for FICM Sync at the moment I will have to do some diggen
