Thanks Cheezit, now to decipher all that!

I'll have to copy and read through those and apply them accordingly.

Thanks!

MAP is a standard gauge - but this XGauge is actually better than the standard one. It has a larger range which was needed because the standard gauge tops out around 37 psi absolute (about 22 lbs of boost), which diesels have no problem doing. This one should read well beyond 22lbs of boost.

With a little tweaking you can adjust this to read boost as you said.

To do this, just plug in the MAP code - get a reading from it with the key in the on position but the engine off, then based on the reading changed the last 4 digits of the MTH to whatever corresponds to your reading on this table
12.7 FF81
12.8 FF80
12.9 FF7F
13.0 FF7E
13.1 FF7D
13.2 FF7C
13.3 FF7B
13.4 FF7A
13.5 FF79
13.6 FF78
13.7 FF77
13.8 FF76
13.9 FF75

14.0 -- FF74

14.1 -- FF73

14.2 -- FF72

14.3 -- FF71

14.6 -- FF6E

14.7 -- FF6D

14.8 -- FF6C

14.9 -- FF6B

15.0 -- FF6A

So, for example if you got a reading of 14.5 PSI with key on engine off you'd change the MTH to 01220320FF6F and the reading should read 0.0 with key on engine off and would then show how many lbs of boost you were at when the vehicle is running.

Today I was cruising along at around 70 and looked to check my EOT and it wasn't there!
The EOT field was empty, and so was boost. At first I thought it was that my xgauges failed. But TFT was showing a reading, and it's an xgauge.

After I reached my destination, parked, came out later and fired my truck up, the readings were back.

You all ever have this happen?

Red eagle, Where did you route the Wire? They are not very long? I am trying mine over the dash, just below the windshield, the wire will go around the dash board

The Blendmount comes with an extension cable and an inline coupler so that you can route the wire under the dash, over to the door, up thru the A pillar and then gently pull the headliner down to run the cable over to the rearview mirror. Hope that helps.

I had to reset mine once, not sure what caused it. My Xgauges were still there.

And, I have taken my SGII out of the truck and used it in my car, which is an 02. Not many readings on it. And the Xgauges stayed put. Just had to reset for diesel when I put it back in the truck.

I bought an extra cord for it when I ordered it so I could move it from one to the other, or, test other trucks when needed.

today I put in the x-gauge for gear
and I dont know if I found a bust or typed something wrong anyway
I noticed that when I was in park, reverse, neutral, or 1st gear the scangauge always said 1

to be able to sucessfuly trouble shoot the transmission range sensor for a no start condition 1 cannot represent 4 diffrent transmission ranges

when I drove it down the road it went 1-6 acorrding to what gear I was in going forward

did I do something wrong this is the code I used
TXD 07E12211B3
RXF 0462051106B3
RXD 3008
MTH 000100020000
NAM GER
just verified this is the code im using,

as it is right now I can use it to kinda see what my shift points are

It would be cool to have a diffrent reading on the scangauge for each transmission range its actully in

do you guys notice the same thing thanx for your help

What is a Blendmount?
Is it possible to use a telephone or internet extension cable?
