Safe to drive?

Background here. 2006 f350 psd. I returned home this evening to notice a dark puddle on my concrete. I had a come home earlier and let the truck sit before leaving. I have now found that the degass bottle has burst out fluid. I am not sure what. Doest the coolant in this truck smell and taste different that typicall antifreeze ? To me it smells like terpintine. It's really greasy. It does not seem creamy at all. My question is is this a sign of a egr or oil cooler failure? I also have a horrible diesel smell in the cab when sitting with the vent system on.z not sure what to do here. Any help please!

Well if the Coolant bottle has Oil or Choclate milkshake in it the Oil Cooler has Blew out

If the above is true^^^^^^ DO NOT DRIVE IT or START IT for that matter

The Diesel Exhaust Smell in the Cab it from a Cracked uppipe Flex Joint or Exhaust leak

Need to replace the uppipes that come off the exhaust manafolds and go up to turbo ypipe

Does the coolant look like choclate pudding? You could have a very serious problem here. Dont start or drive it until you have determinded what it is.

But I assume since you said turpintine smell in coolant then its diesel fuel in the coolant

If so you need new Heads cuz injector cups are leaking or head is cracked

You threw a wrench into the Gears By saying Greasy and Turpintine smell so it could go either way.

So you must verify whats in the coolant bottle Neither option is cheap

I think it may be diesel. There is no smoke coming out of the exhaust. The coolant has no antifreeze smell what so ever. It also does not look like chocolate pudding.

If it is diesel i the coolant, you need a new head or heads. I don't think I would drive it if it were mine.

Have it towed before you cause more damage.

If its a short drive I woould go for it since its Diesel fuel just drain some coolant down to little under low mark on coolant bottle
