Power Window Upgrade?

Anyone ever used the Power Winder conversion kits you see in LMC or other suppliers?

If so...was it satisfactory? Contemplating doing the upgrade but don't want anything junky or disappointing.

I have a set of these in my truck. NEW 2 Door Universal Electric Power Window Kit 3 Switch | eBay are used everyday and work well. The passenger window is a little slow when controlled from the drivers side. It is also best to put one up at a time. I do like that you can always go back to manual windows if you like, with no harm done.

It's been a few years but I put in a window and door lock kits from JC Whitney. The newer kits are totally flush and look a bit better than what I have.

I went the junkyard route and wrote up a how to a year or so ago. If you do a search or look in the how to thread you should be able to find it.

What he said. Everything is plug and play. And if you ever need parts, you can get them

thanks gentlemen...I was going to also ask about a direct swap with OEM equipment. That sounds like the right way to go if I ever decide to go it. Not real high on the "things to do list" but thought I'd research it now anyway
