I just abandoned the dash speaker when I put in a new radio. There is no connection for it on a new radio anyway.
I replaced the door speakers and also got 2 self contained speakers and put them behind the seat just sitting on the floor.
Finally just recently got an amp and 10" sub in a truck box and put it behind the seat.

If you want a factory style replacement, go to the wrecking yard and pick one up.

1992-1996 trucks with rear speakers will work, as well as any car or truck with the oval shaped speaker. Speakers marked Ford Premium are best.

Take the connector with you on the wiring harness as you will need it as the connector won't match.

You can also buy a 5x8 or 6x9 speaker at Radio shack or Walmart and those can also be made to work.

I'm sure they make replacements. I'm not sure what size is factory as mine didn't have one. Places like Crutchfield: Car Stereo, Speakers, Home Theater, LCD TV, Digital Cameras would be a good place to check.

5x8 is the factory size. Ford has odd size speakers and brackets. 6x9 should also work due to this.
