Farewell Pre-Power Stroke forum

Wow. I guess I had no faith in my old truck. My inbox was filled with people. 2 people wanted to see it right away. 1st person wanted it, but his wife said it was too ugly. Second guy took it. I am still shocked that it sold so fast. Guess I thought only a guy like me would love an ugly truck like that.
The truck is registered and will pass inspection. everything on it worked. It did need some things though. 4 of the gp tips were broken off in the head, so as long as the temps are above 25 the other 4 gp's will do the job. The tires were nearly gone as well, and it desperately needed an alignment. It had no block heater (plug fell out and I was broke at the time so I just replaced it with a freeze plug). It burned a little oil. I was really torn on the truck, cuz on one hand, I knew that everything worked and that it was reliable ... however, I didn't want to portray it as some super nice truck that is never going to make you open your wallet.
Thanks for all the feedback. Sounds like I'm in good company in these forums. Sadly, this morning when I walked out to my new shiny red truck, I did kind of miss seeing the old crappy looking one. I'll miss her.

Theres comfort in knowing that no matter what I do with my truck I'm not going to make it look any worse. Well, I can, its just not very easy.
