Of course it was your sisters fault, if she had NOT stopped at the stop sign she would not have been in the direct path of a vital cell phone conversation

sorry guys have not updated in a while i had to tear into the interior to figure out why the sunroof would not close turns out it was a broken guide on the pass side and another piece on the driver side. while i had all the pillars and headliner out i figured perfect time to install my audio system and clean the carpet so out came the seats too

put infinity reference in all four corners

no pics of the front speakers and ill have to go out and get some of the head unit subs and amp. i put the amp under the center seat it just barely fit but the seat holds it down tight and i can be assured it will not get stolen unless someone takes my seats out too. Also while i had it apart i removed the pass side window from the window lock circuit and hooked up the high idle. Now on to the sunroof it seems the part that broke on the drivers side cannot be ordered seprate from the frame assembly so off to the hardware store i went. i got some 1/4" machine keys and an 11/64th drill bit

you have to cut one of them short so it will fit into the track and i put the holes too far back the first time. also very important to only drill into it a little so the spacing for the track is correct. heres where it attaches on the sunroof frame.

not a great picture but i tried pointing to the little tabs with pliers i had to notch out the back of the machine keys to fit on the tabs

ill have to go get a picture with it back together but basically i just slid the machine keys over the tabs and put some jb weld on there with a model brush its drying right now so ill let you know how it works i dont see any reason why it wouldnt. also i replaced the guide on the pass side but the guide rod is held in with plastic clips that of course you cant undo without breaking solution was a very small metal clip think it was called a hair pin clip was in the box next to the machine keys and cotter pins at the hardware store. thats it for now its going to the frame shop friday then i gotta clean the frame and undercoat it replace my driver side backing plate and put the truck back together.

looks good.
it can be a lot of fun doing that kind of work, as long as it is paid for by the insurance.
glad your sister is OK
did she go get checked at the hospital?
i was rear ended at about 35-40 and it knocked my radio out and on to the floor.
i had some minor back/neck pain so i went to get checked out. luckily everything worked out ok for me... mostly.
teh lady that hit me had no liscense, no insurance, and was not a legal citizen. my insurance had to cover it
