Help with steering stabilizer install

Hi guys, I just finished installing a stabilizer on my truck and I have a question. Does it matter which side the boot is on? I put it on with the boot side on the shock toward the middle of the truck and the shock body side on the passengers side. Looking at pics of other trucks online, most seem to have the boot on the passenger side ie. I have the shock on backwards. Does it matter? I did it this way because thats the way it fit due to the bracket being bent.

It doesn't really matter. Just turn lock to lock a few times to make sure the shock is not hitting anywhere or binding.

stock is body to wards the wheel, boot faces the center of the truck. My dual kit is opposite for some reason in the instructions?

Doesn't matter. Just make sure wheels are centered and check left to right travel as DKF alluded to

Mine are exactly as pictured above...I think
