Is there a Black box on my truck?
The black box records the final conditions of the vehicle (throttle position, RPM,speed etc...).
I have heard of some chevy vehicles that have them.
I dont think there is one on my truck.
Thanks,
Gene

There's a computer that controls things but not a black box, those are in airplanes and record flight data.
Primary rig is Green Thunder:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster Exhaust, Sunroof, Clear corners w/ Diamond headlights, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds .
Thats it for now, saving for a stang. Check out my Gallery for a look-see.
Acutally the newer vehicle's have them. I believe that the 2003 Crown Vic Police Package is comming out with it. I know there are some Chevy's that already have it. I can see insurance companies drooling over this idea!!!!!!!!!
I've got a friend whos shop teacher let his son take his new tahoe out for prom. Well he came back the next day and the SES light was on. upon scanning the computer he found out the speed limiter had been hit. OOPs...the kids still grounded.
haha, good thing they dont have those on my vehicle , haha, but honestly, i have never gone more than 5 mph over the speedlimit (it may help that my spedometer is 5mph slow, whenever i drive on any main street, I go 5 miles over the normal speed on my spedometer and i am going the normal speed or a tad slower)
