Side mirror covers
Does anybody know if there are side mirror painted caps for the 2012 F150 and 2012 Expedition? I am wanting to cover some of the black.

Did you get a basic model or what? My '10 Limited EL has painted caps.

Loaded XLT but it has all black mirrors.

I would try to find mirrors off a higher end model. They would be painted, integrated turn, puddle light, heated.

Mine has all that but all black too.

You can either get the cover from the dealer and pay to get it painted or the entire painted mirror from a salvage yard. Or take yours off and paint them, your choice.

Only the Limiteds came with body colored painted mirror caps.
You can buy the caps from Ford, but have to have them painted, they come "paint to match", not already painted. About $35 each from online vendors.

I believe so, but I dont know how hard it is to swap. I think you pop off your black textured one and snap in the painted one.

Item #2 in diagram below. (hopefully link works. If not just punch in the part number I gave into their website and it should come up)
