Does anyone know how to take off the mirror cover on the TT mirrors? I had a backing up accident and cracked my lens on my mirror, I have a new cover and cant quite figure it out.

Curious I suppose but I had no idea these trucks were built anywhere besides Kentucky. Anyone else have one not built in Kentucky?? I can tell you how to replace a mirror as I swapped my mirrors to tt mirrors. I am pretty sure if you do a search on mirror covers you will find what you are looking for. I've seen several people ask this question.
I think you have to pop the mirror out and get it from the inside. Be careful though because the knuckle on the inside is fragile and if you crack the plastic it knuckle you have to replace the whole assembly which is expensive.
Do you need to replace the cover with the turn signal and clerance lights? Or did you damage one of the glass mirrors?
If it is the cover with the lights you need to pry it off very carfuly, starting on the outside edge down by the light. It will slowly come loose, and then the clips came be snapped loose by inserting a screwdriver in them.
If it is a glass mirror you need to replace it is more diffucult. if it is this I will follow this thread and can tell you how to do this. I am trying to keep this post as short as possible.
