Expedition Mirror Kits
Hello All:
I have a driver's side mirror (non-heated with 3-bar signal) that has stripped-out the threaded keepers. It will move (and eventually pop-out) with every shut of the door.
My dealer says that their is no fix for this
short of a new mirror... to the tune of $280.00!!! Can this be true? I don't need a new mirror, I just need .75 worth of plastic. <G>
Any ideas of aftermarket solutions or creative repairs!

Try Muth Mirrors, which is the major supplier of these mirrors (if not the only? -- not sure). They were very helpful when I had to replace some bad mirrors, which they warranted. They might be able to help you out with those plastic pieces.
